The project OmniaCAD, created by the team of Consulting & Software, extend the potential of Autocad using processes of Global Service and Maintenance Management.
OmniaCAD is an additional module of the system OMNIA, which can be integrated perfectly with the home software Autodesk and provides a simple and reliable tool for the management of maintenance and plant design.
The necessary
An organization engaged to satisfy the requirements associated with maintenance of facilities and the Facility Management, has to integrate the operations documentation of changes in the layout of establishments or facilities and constructions with the
necessary maintenance operations.
The simplest solution that we can imagine is one that allows you to combine in a single application, the two problems; but how to do it without compromises and taking the best of the market?
The solution
The solution is to combine the two instruments leader on the market of design and management of maintenance: Omnia and Autocad. With the development of OmniaCAD, the Team of Consulting & Software wanted to provide to the user a more efficient way to interact with data. The user can see the project developed with Autocad and interact actively with the various design components. The association of a given item with an equipment is only one of the new potential of OmniaCAD: it is to select an object and thanks the interface extremely simplified is possible to examinate the database of OMNIA, that contains the equipment data, select the desired combination from a window that will appear on the screen and confirm this association. It will be possible to associate to the objects also facilities, classes and locations and of course turn back step by step; extremely user friendly OmniaCAD can show a video in a very pleasant and clear form ,all the properties of the element which will be selected: it is possible to examine the maintenance of equipment with all the operation that was executed or not, the frequency, the description of the maintenance and even the operator who performed the action. Moreover in addition to any equipment the user is able to view their personal details together with equipped documents related equipment, inherent to the equipment, obtain information’s about the maintenance and filter, the results displayed as you like.
